One more year we are waiting for you in the Cathedral and in the Diocesan Museum!
Throughout this 2018, the Cabildo Catedral wants to continue approaching the students the history, culture, art and the symbology of the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum. Therefore, as usual, we return to our service of guided and dynamic visits from the Department of Didactics of the Cathedral of Mallorca.
We offer different types of visits according to the topic in which they focus. Thus, we want to get to know the Cathedral and the Diocesan Museum thoroughly and adapt to the interests of each group. This course, as a novelty, we have visits focused on specific artistic periods: Gothic art, modern art and contemporary art (the restoration of Antoni Gaudí and the reform of Miquel Barceló). In addition, for students of Primary Education, visits can be complemented by practical workshops, where children can learn through creativity.
Guided tours are adapted to the different educational levels and are directed to students of Primary Education, Secondary Education and High School.
We take this opportunity to remind you that the guided tours to the Cathedral are completely free (including the material needed to carry out the various workshops). However, school visits to the Diocesan Museum have a small cost of € 1 per student (free admission for accompanying teachers) that will be paid on the same day of the visit.
