VISITING THE DIOCESE MUSEUM

We aim to offer a lively and eloquent Diocese Museum, where the stones of its walls, the light of its images, the message of so many artists and of so many of the faithful that speak to us from the works that are provided for us to contemplate, can transport us to different moments in the history of our diocesan Church, telling us of the life of Christian communities within which they saw the light. They are a record of different forms of devotion and piety and are a sign of diverse artistic sensibilities that can speak of a single Christian faith that many centuries ago became deeply rooted in our Majorcan soil and remains alive to this day, still bearing fruit in the field of art, but also, and above all, in the field of dedicated charity in many ways.

We therefore encourage you to contemplate the refurbished museum as testimony to a living tradition, as a manifestation of the splendour of faith expressed through art, and the beauty of the Christian experience in Majorca.
