Built in the 13th century, its central nave is approximately 44 metres high, making it one of the tallest cathedrals in Europe. * The preferred ticket must be purchased at the Cathedral’s ticket office, presenting a university student ID, a valid unemployment card, or a disability certificate.

* Significant reductions of up to 100% can be obtained by purchasing the tickets directly at the ticket office of the Cathedral of Mallorca and providing documentary proof of:

  • Residency or being native to the diocese of Mallorca.
  • Children equal to or younger than 9 years old.
  • Disability equal to or greater than 65% with 1 accompanying person.

Summer hours from April to October

  • Monday to Friday from 10:00h to 17:15h.
  • Saturdays from 10:00h to 14:15h.

Winter hours from November to March

  • Monday to Saturday: from 10:00h to 15:15h.

RULES OF ACCESS
CONDITIONS PRIOR TO THE VISIT

  1. The entrance for all visits it is located at the Entrance of the Cathedral Museum, Plaza de la Seo s/n. Is essential the presentation of the reservation received by email to proceed to its validation before starting the visit.
  2. The visits will begin within the indicated time frames In the reservation.
  3. Pets are not allowed to visit the visit, except guide dogs.
  4. Please wear a formal clothing according to a religious temple and avoid going in a swimsuit, without a shirt, etc.
  5. Following international safety regulations, it is not allowed the access to the enclosure with travel suitcases or bulky packages. We inform that the Cathedral does not have lockers where to deposit them.
  6. The organization reserves the capability to cancel the visit, with or without notice, for the reasons it deems appropriate, returning the amount already paid to those who have not been able to enjoy the visit.
  7. Please be so kind to carefully check the details of the reserve, then once confirmed, no changes or refunds will be accepted . If you need additional information, you can contact our team in the mail [email protected].
  8. The organization reserves the right of admission.

  3. The non-observance of the indications in matters of conservation of the heritage indicated by the staff of the Cathedral can reach cause the immediate expulsion of the visit, without the right to any type of refund.
  4. It is not allowed to throw objects, nor to consume food and / or drinks (except water)
  5. Smoking is not allowed during the visit.
  6. Visitors should always keep an eye on their personal belongings.

The Cathedral of Mallorca offers, adapting to the current health situation, tours of its terraces, an extraordinary experience where you can contemplate the immensity of the sea and the beauty of Palma, without a doubt a good plan to make a cultural excursion and enjoy a few minutes of peace and contemplation. A free access route so visitors can enjoy the terraces of the flying buttresses, the spectacular main rose window, the bell tower and the city’s skyline.

* On Fridays of each week, a free visit is offered to residents and natives of the diocese of Mallorca, the ticket must be acquired at the Cathedral’s ticket office and this residency or nativity condition must be documented.

SCHEDULE
Monday to Friday from 10:00 hrs. to 16:30 hrs. Shifts every 30 minutes of 1 hour duration each.

Fridays from 10:00 hrs. to 13:30 hrs. Shifts every 30 minutes of 1 hour duration each.

PRE-VISIT CONDITIONS

  1. Due to the characteristics and difficulty of the route, and for safety reasons, access to the visit is limited to:
    1.1 individuals who do not have cardiorespiratory diseases, vertigo, claustrophobia, or reduced mobility due to age or health reasons.
    1.2 people over 9 years old. In the case of minors, it is mandatory to provide accreditation through an official identity document.
  2. By accepting these terms and conditions, the user confirms the truthfulness of the information provided, as well as compliance with the physical and/or health requirements mentioned in the previous point, exempting any responsibility for any possible damage for such reasons to the Cathedral of Mallorca.
  3. Entry for all visits will always be through the entrance of the Cathedral Museum, Plaza de la Seo s/n. Inside the Cathedral, at the Portal de la Almoina, a Meeting Point has been set up for access to the Terrace visits. It is essential to present the reservation received by email to proceed with its validation before starting the visit.
  4. The visits will start promptly within the time margins indicated in the reservation, and will have a maximum duration of one hour. Once this start time limit has passed, access will no longer be allowed.
  5. Access of pets to the visit is not allowed, except for guide dogs.
  6. The organization reserves the right to cancel the visit, with or without notice, for reasons it deems appropriate, refunding the amount already paid to those who could not enjoy it due to such cancellation.

  5. It is not allowed to throw objects, or consume food and/or drinks (except water)
  6. Smoking is not allowed during the visit.
  7. Visitors must always watch their personal belongings.
  8. Visitors are requested to wear formal attire appropriate for a religious temple and avoid attending in swimwear, without a shirt, etc.
  9. Following international security standards, access to the premises with travel suitcases or bulky items will not be allowed. We inform you that the Cathedral does not have lockers to store them.
