Important information: Tu ets l’Artista

17 December 2021

Owing to the current public health situation caused by Covid-19, the Chapter of the Cathedral of Mallorca has decided to cancel the official presentation of the “Tu ets l’Artista” children’s Christmas exhibition planned for this Saturday 18 December. In its place, there will be an open day at the Cathedral from 10:00 to 13:00 so that all of the participating children and their family members, friends and teachers can see the drawings on display in the Cathedral. A certificate and a small gift will also be presented to all of the participants.

We would like to thank everyone who has taken part in this exhibition, which will celebrate its fourth edition on Saturday. Thanks to their interest, the Cathedral will be full of nativity scenes to welcome the Christmas celebrations. Around 600 drawings by more than 700 children will be on display. The artists did their drawings individually, in pairs or in groups, imagining their own versions of the birth of Jesus. We encourage you to come and see this exhibition where children and their excitement about Christmas take centre stage!

We would also like to express the hope of all of the team at the Cathedral to continue this initiative year after year, as it has already become a much-loved Christmas tradition amongst all of us.
